Namaste yogis. I'm so honored to be able to share the practice of yoga with the SOMOS community. First and foremost, I would like to acknowledge that I'm a student first, and I don't promise to have all the answers nor to heal others. My hope is to facilitate a space in which the community can practice self-inquiry, learn about the power of their breath, and heal themselves through this embodied practice. As a teacher, I'm here to share these tools so you can make this practice your own.
I started practicing yoga consistently in 2017 when I moved to San Francisco and my mental health was at an all time low. I fell in love with Power Vinyasa, and realized that the power of breath was transformational. In 2018, I completed both my 200 YTT and a group fitness certification in Sculpt through CorePower Yoga.
After realizing my practice had been primarily asana-focused, I decided to go deeper into my studies and flew to India. By the end of March 2023, I acquired my RYT 500 by completing my 300 YTT in Hatha and Ashtanga through the Himalayan Yoga Association in Rishikesh.
If you're reading this and made it this far, thank you. I hope our paths cross on and off the mat.
